Scooby Doo Shilling is a two year old Black Labrador/Dalmatian mix. He lives with a senior dog, Tiger Shilling (12 year old Black Labrador/german shepherd mix).
He was adopted in August 2021 from the Maryland Labrador Rescue association. Tiger was living with Golden Retriever Butterscotch Shilling, who died in May of 2021.
A veterinarian warned the Shillings that Tiger may become depressed after the loss of Butterscotch. The two lived together for nine years.
Scooby bonded quickly with Tiger. Tiger was slow to warm up to Scooby.
Scooby passes the time by following Tiger around and enjoys stealing his toys. Scooby habitually follows the Shillings, as well.
When confused, Scooby sits and watches. Since he was adopted, he has sat without command and observed the Shillings. If they leave a room, he sits in front of the close door until they return.
