During the COVID-19 pandemic, many people still find time to enjoy the park at Lake Elkhorn, Columbia, Md. (Emily Hahn)

Even though much of Lake Elkhorn is easily accessible from the trail surrounding the body of water, individuals are still prohibited from exploring the dam. The running water moves quickly as it runs down  the stone slabs. (Emily Hahn)
